Description
MIGS has changed the glaucoma world in many ways. However, access to an OR (operating room) can be a challenge and may represent delay for patients to achieve IOP control. We describe an ab externo (closed conjunctiva) implantation technique for a gel microstent that is performed at the slit lamp: the SLX procedure (Slit lamp XEN), the first office based MIGS procedure.
