This course includes lectures, videos, and panel discussions and will introduce the technology of small aperture IOLs in the cataract and refractive practice. As these lenses are in the final phases of FDA approval, they will be available in the USA in the future. An international panel will share their experiences from controlled studies and an interventional case series in the areas of application of technology as a refractive implant, using these implants to correct irregular corneas, and RK cases. In addition, approaches to deal with traumatic cataracts combined with aniridia will be discussed.
