This course will be presented by the members of the ASCRS IOL calculation subcommittee. This lecture will discuss 8 things you need to know for the best refractive outcomes following cataract surgery. Topics will include the role of the surgeon, accuracy standards, preoperative biometric data validation, an update on IOL power selection methods, IOL power selection in high axial myopia, high axial hyperopia, eyes with toric IOL, and eyes with previous corneal refractive surgery.
