ASCRS•ASOA has all the resources to help ophthalmologists and practice administrators succeed in MIPS for 2018! This week, we released the ASCRS•ASOA Quality Payment Program (QPP) Year 2 Final Rule Guide, which includes an overview of MIPS performance requirements in 2018 and how to avoid a penalty in 2020. In addition, it provides information on MIPS Alternative Payment Models (APMs) and Advanced APMs. We are currently preparing detailed category guides for 2018, which will be available soon on the ASCRS•ASOA MACRA Center.

On Wednesday, November 29, at 2:00 p.m. EST, join ASCRS•ASOA Director of Government Relations Nancey McCann and Manager of Regulatory Affairs Allison Madson for a webinar covering the 2018 QPP Year Two Final Rule and find out what ophthalmic practices need to do in 2018 to avoid a penalty or receive a bonus in 2020. During this webinar, we’ll cover the reporting requirements and scoring for each category of MIPS, major changes in MIPS from 2017, such as new accommodations for small practices, and APM and MIPS APM requirements.
