This week, ASCRS•ASOA hosted a webinar for members on MIPS in 2019. A full audio recording of the presentation will be available on the ASOA website soon; however, the slides from the presentation are available now (member login required).
In addition, the slides have been updated to address a few of the questions posed by webinar attendees. Specifically:
- Quality measure data completeness thresholds: For full participation in the category, physicians or groups must report on at least 60% of Part B patients if reporting via claims, and 60% of all patients if reporting via registry or EHR.
- Cost Measure attribution thresholds: To be attributed the cataract surgery cost measure, a physician or group must have at least 10 Part B patients who meet the measure specifications. For the population-based measures, a physician or group must have at least 20 patients attributed for the total per capita cost measure or 35 patients for the Medicare spending per beneficiary measure to be scored on the measures.
