It is difficult to visualize the axis markings of toric IOL in cases with poorly dilated pupil. To ease verification of toric axis in such cases, we marked alignment lines on more central optic with special ink from surgical marker. We could check the rotational alignment easily intraoperatively as well as postoperatively even without mydriatics. The line marking disappeared within few days and it did not cause any toxic effect and permanent visual symptoms.
