This film shares my personal, very bewildering experience during phacoemulsification with premium IOL, of a viscoelastic cannula causing 360 degree zonular dehiscence but at the same time, acting as an anchor, preventing posterior dislocation of the lens. This complication was successfully managed with patient attaining good vision post-operatively.
This film was submitted to the 37th Annual ASCRS Film Festival within the 2019 ASCRS ASOA Annual Meeting.
