We describe our technique of DWEK as a treatment for symptomatic Fuchs Dystrophy. Combined phacoemulsification, lens implantation and 4 mm central descemetorhexis were performed. Ripasudil was used as an adjuvant in slow responders. Corneal clearance was observed at three months with improvement in VA. Endothelial cell repopulation and recovery of pachymetry to normal values was confirmed.
This film was submitted to the 37th Annual ASCRS Film Festival within the 2019 ASCRS ASOA Annual Meeting.
