This video evaluates the outcomes of the first 30 cataract surgeries performed with a new disposable, injector-free, small-pupil expansion device. In this consecutive case series, 30 eyes of 29 patients underwent cataract surgery using the new device. The iris expansion ring appears effective at expanding and maintaining expansion of small pupils undergoing cataract surgery.
