Double Trouble- This video is about a patient with a typical posterior polar cataract who had a large posterior capsular rent during cataract surgery. The surgery was completed with dry cortical aspiration & vitrectomy. However, during implantation of the 3 piece Intra Ocular Lens, the haptic broke.The IOL was cut, explanted & another IOL was implanted, taking care not to increase the rent.
