Description
DMEK has come a long way since its inception in 2006. Critically, the success of the operation relies a large part on minimal graft manipulation to optimise endothelial cell count and integrity. Since then, many have described varying techniques of graft preparation.
This film demonstrates a collection of several different DMEK graft preparation techniques for the beginner DMEK surgeon including our favored technique, showing that there are many ways to “skin” a DMEK.
