Description
It is recognized that femtosecond laser−assisted cataract surgery (FLACS) is suitable for protecting the corneal endothelium. However, we have occasionally encountered serious corneal endothelial damage after FLACS. This film shows the results of our experimental study. It puts forward for consideration that gas bubbles formation and free radical production in the anterior chamber by femtosecond laser irradiation may affect the corneal endothelium.
